Abstract
• The South Sumatra Province Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in January 2021
was recorded at 100.01 or decreased by 1.79 percent compared to the previous

Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.63 percent.
• The decline in NTP in January 2021 was influenced by a fairly large drop
in NTP in the Plantation sub-sector, namely 2.74 percent and Animal Husbandry

food crops by 0.91 percent, horticulture 1.09 percent, fisheries in general
1.18 percent, capture fisheries 1.05 percent and aquaculture fisheries 1.37
percent.
• In January 2021, in South Sumatra, rural inflation of 0.65 percent

average It has decreased by 1.18 percent, while the average BPPBM index price
